Falling Down

London bridges falling down,

Falling down,

Falling down.

Why do we always weep and drown,

A smile, a frown,

A different town.

The heaviness of heart and soul,

Drag us hard beyond our goal.

We reach and grab,

But lose our hold.

The part of us that's left behind,

Is so much of a different kind.

We leave, we bleed, we breathe, we grieve.

What's grasping at us now is unfamiliar.

A spirit, time, and true surrender,

What we have is what we are,

Make a wish upon a star.

But don't forget just who you are.

Hearts heal and air comes through your throat.

A gasp for life, perhaps for hope?

We strive, we fly, we live, we love, we grow, we try.

The truthful new beginning sinks softly into our heart and soul if we let it.

But in the end we only die, so should we just forget it?
